Terms of Service – SkipTrek Last Updated: November 15, 2025

By accessing or using skiptrek.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms SkipTrek reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service SkipTrek is a discovery and booking platform that enables users to: • Find events (festivals, concerts, clubs, sports) • Reserve real tickets with priority access ("skip the line") • Earn rewards by inviting friends

We are not event organizers. We act solely as an intermediary between users and third-party event providers. We do not guarantee availability, quality, or accuracy of listed events.

3. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Registration • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. • SkipTrek is not liable for losses due to unauthorized access.

5. Bookings & Payments • Tickets are sold by third-party providers (organizers or ticketing platforms). • Prices include applicable VAT (Mexico: 16%). • All bookings are non-refundable unless the event is canceled or the provider allows a refund. • SkipTrek does not store card data. Payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers (e.g., Stripe, Conekta).

6. Rewards Program (Invite & Earn) • Earn benefits when invited friends complete a booking. • Rewards are subject to verification and may be revoked for abuse (fake accounts, spam, etc.). • SkipTrek determines the type and value of rewards (upgrades, VIP access, etc.).

7. User Conduct It is prohibited to: • Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes • Resell tickets without organizer authorization • Interfere with Platform functionality (bots, scraping, DDoS) • Impersonate others or create fake accounts

8. Intellectual Property All content on SkipTrek (design, logos, code, text) is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without written permission.

9. Event Cancellations If an event is canceled, refunds are managed by the ticket provider, not SkipTrek. We will assist in facilitating communication with the organizer.

10. Limitation of Liability SkipTrek is not liable for: • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Errors in event descriptions • Third-party technical failures (payment gateways, event apps) Maximum liability: the amount paid for the ticket.

11. Termination SkipTrek may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mexico City.
